 I am Traci Hanson founder of And Along Came Baby,
but more importantly, I am the mother of two little boys. After the birth of my second baby I decided that it was time to pursue my passion and begin a career working with pregnant women and new families. As a Doula and Childbirth Educator I have had the privilege of attended nearly 100 births and taught over 150 couples in the last three years. I LOVE my job helping women have babies! It is the most amazing experience to be invited to this most precious event.
So how does this relate to And Along Came Baby? When I became a Doula I dreamed of opening a store where I can teach Childbirth Education in a caring and supportive group environment, where I can include options such as waterbirth or, hypnobirthing, offer prenatal/mommy and me yoga classes, infant massage, fun sibling preparation classes, breastfeeding classes and many, many more. In addition, I envisioned providing beautiful organic baby products, from layette and yummy blankets to shampoos and lotions, balms and sunscreens-all of the highest quality and many of them organic. Well, the time has come to make this dream a reality! I am very excited to provide what I believe to be a much needed service and product line to the Central Valley. Better yet, I am fulfilling a calling and a personal dream. I cant wait to help you prepare for your own little baby... a dream come true!
